About us

The Quiet Courage Foundation was founded by Nicky, Mel & Janna - It was during our 30s that each of us were diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We met during this time, and not only were we a support for one another, we became friends. Being younger women with 7 children between us, it was a blessing to know another person who could relate to the challenges of motherhood whilst navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment. During the years that followed we all agreed that we wanted to make a difference to others as we know the challenges faced during the unknown road that is cancer so we created our charity to provide tangible support to cancer patients. From the donations we receive we provide care boxes filled with practical and self care items to uplift and bring courage to those undergoing cancer treatment. We personally deliver our care boxes to oncology wards as well as chemotherapy and radiation day units, we love the smile it brings to cancer patients during their treatment.

We provide tangible support to cancer patients

Our mission is to bring smiles, comfort and courage to cancer patients by providing care boxes and sharing our cancer journey with them.

“This box was honestly so practical, but filled with so much love. The toothpaste and toothbrush were such a game changer. Please don’t ever doubt your impact on those who have received one, for I am so grateful for mine.”

“I was very touched to receive a gift that made me smile, and my eyes leak a little. So many considerate and caring products that I will use and value on-going.

I love knowing your story and reasons behind the creation of the heartfelt gift boxes, and it gives me further courage, hope and faith in my own recovery.”

The Quiet Courage Foundation provides care boxes to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, as well as those in hospital in oncology wards.

We deliver to hospitals and cancer clinics on the Gold Coast and Tweed, however we cannot do this alone. We need the support of compassionate individuals like you to help us and any amount of donation will go a long way to achieve our goal of providing our care boxes and comfort to cancer patients.

Your donation will not only help us provide tangible support to cancer patients but also show them that they are not alone in their cancer journey, it will remind them that there are people who care. With your help we can expand our services to the greater south-east of Queensland and beyond.

It is a beautiful way to bring a smile and make a positive impact in someone's day.
